This custom waterfront residence in Aqualane Shores showcases the level of planning, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that defines a Countrywide Builders home. Designed by LCH Interiors and constructed by Countrywide Builders LLC, the home offers more than 6,300 square feet of interior living space, along with over 1,800 square feet of covered outdoor living and entertainment areas.
The residence was designed and built to meet current flood-elevation requirements while incorporating five-plus bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, an exercise room, dual laundry areas, and an elevator serving both levels. First- and second-floor lanais are equipped with automatic UV-protected insect screens, as well as aluminum screening for additional hurricane protection.
Interior finishes include wide-plank Legno Bastone wood flooring, decorative stone, custom tilework, architectural lighting, and bespoke cabinetry throughout.
The home features both a main gourmet kitchen and a separate catering or “messy” kitchen designed to support large-scale entertaining. The appliance package includes Thermador refrigerators, freezers, wine cabinets, dishwashers, and refrigerated drawers; Italian-made Bertazzoni natural-gas ranges with vented hoods; BlueStar double wall ovens with French-door and drop-down configurations; Scotsman ice makers; and a built-in Miele coffee station.
The first-floor owner’s suite includes two spacious walk-in closets, a private sitting area, and triple 10-foot sliding-glass doors that open directly to the pool and waterfront. The primary bathroom was designed with separate vanities, custom finishes, and two private water closets.
Outdoor construction centers around a custom 14-by-37-foot saltwater negative-edge pool with an integrated spa and oversized sun shelf. Additional features include a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, gas fire pit, waterfront seating area, oversized dock, and boat lift.
Two separate garages provide parking for three and a half vehicles. Fourteen-foot garage ceilings allow space for future automotive lifts. Exterior materials include brick and plank siding, copper gutters, copper gas lanterns, a slate-inspired tile roof, a cobblestone driveway, and oversized black-framed PGT Modern Series windows.
Every element of the home—from its structural planning and flood-conscious design to its custom cabinetry, premium finishes, and integrated outdoor spaces—was carefully coordinated to create a durable, functional, and exceptionally crafted waterfront residence.
